During a meeting with Rostov region Governor Yury Slyusar, special focus was given to exploring opportunities for joint projects and strengthening business ties between the two nations.

Another part of the discussions focused on the labor mobility of Uzbek citizens and streamlining the process for obtaining necessary permits.

Following the meeting, it was agreed to organize a dedicated working session involving the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Rostov region. This session aims to thoroughly explore ways to enhance and streamline the process of obtaining work permits.

The parties also discussed organizing a visit by a Rostov region delegation to Uzbekistan, scheduled for March 2027.

A meeting with Human Rights Commissioner Alexey Kharkovsky in Rostov region addressed issues concerning the protection of Uzbekistan citizens’ rights and legitimate interests.

Following the working visit, the parties confirmed their commitment to continue practical cooperation to strengthen interregional relations, promote organized labor mobility, and safeguard the rights and legitimate interests of Uzbekistan citizens.
