Political developments, government policy, diplomacy, regional mechanisms and security dynamics.
Institutional profile
Founded in Hong Kong in 2022, Hanyu Consultancy is a strategy advisory and think-tank research institution focused on Central Asia and inland Eurasia.

Hong Kong · Central Asia
Hanyu Consultancy serves organisations whose strategy, investment or cooperation decisions intersect with the five Central Asian states and the wider inland Eurasian region. The institution connects policy research with practical advisory so that regional change can be understood in relation to a specific market, sector or project.
Our research scope covers geopolitics and regional security, energy and mineral resources, cross-border trade, investment risk, industrial policy and the legal and cultural conditions that shape implementation. This creates a connected view from macro-level political change to the operating questions faced by institutions and projects.
Hong Kong provides an international, commercially connected and rules-based vantage point from which to compare mainland Chinese strategic priorities with international business practice. Hanyu uses this position to reduce information gaps and translate regional context into clear questions, evidence and decision options.
The institution is oriented towards mainland Chinese state-owned enterprises, multinational companies, financial institutions, academic think tanks, strategic research organisations and international cooperation platforms. Assignments may include regional assessment, policy interpretation, project due diligence, investment-risk review, sector analysis and tailored research.

A combined policy, market, industry and risk framework that connects macro geopolitical assessment with due diligence, sector questions and project-level decisions.
Ongoing review of official policy, public records, industry developments, social context and regional data, with emphasis on source comparison and verification.
Research and advisory designed around the practical settings described in the client brief: investment, energy, infrastructure, trade, academic cooperation and institutional dialogue.
